A Global Effort that Benefits the World

June 8th @ 10:00am – HAPPY WORLD OCEANS DAY! Now that I’ve had a chance to get to know almost everyone in the science team as well as the ship’s crew, it bears mentioning that we have quite the international team aboard this expedition. Countries represented are: Canada, the United States, France, Germany, Spain, Norway, Australia, and Turkey. We also have a mix of experience from seasoned researchers with a wealth of ocean expeditions under their belt, to young undergraduates and postgrads at the start of their careers, as well as communications and multimedia specialists, engineers, and me of course, a humble science teacher. I try to blend in.
